XIA Changliang , born in 1968, PhD, Professor, President of Tiangong University, Member of the 13^th CPPCC, Selected as an Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2017.

--Distinguished Professor of “Chang Jiang Scholars Program”;

--Holder of National Science Foundation for Outstanding Youth;

--Chief Scientist of “973 Plan”;

--Graduated from Tianjin University in 1990;

--Achieved master and doctor degree from Zhejiang University in 1993 and 1995 respectively;

--Taught in Tianjin University since 1996;

--Promoted to Professor in 2002;

--Vice President of Tiangong University since April 2010;

--President of Tiangong University since October 2018;

--Engaged in the research and development of high efficiency motor system for a long time;

--Presiding over the national “973 Plan” as a chief scientist;

--Taking charge of key and important projects of the National Natural Science Foundation as project managers;

--Won the second prize of national technical invention and national scientific and technological progress as first authors;
