Xiao Zhaoxia received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation, Hebei University of Technology, the M.S. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in Power System and its Automation from Tianjin University, Tianjin, P. R. China, in 2002, 2005 and 2008, respectively. From 2007-2008, she studied in University of Manchester, UK as a Ph.D. Guest. Since 2009, she began to work in Tiangong University. She has been an associate professor and full Professor from 2011, 2018. From Sep. 2012 to Dec. 2012 she was a Visiting Scholar in Fraunhofer IWES, Germany. From Dec.2016 to Jan.2018, she was a Visiting Scholar in Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark. Her research interests include AC/DC Microgrids with renewable energy, maritime power system, planning of distribution network. She has authored and co-authored more than 30 technical papers in Microgrids conferences and journal.
