obtained his Ph.D. degree in Textile Engineering in 2000 from Tiangong University (former Tiangong University). He worked in Tianjin Polytechic University as a lecturer and then associate professor. In 2004, he moved to Zhengzhou, and joined Zhongyuan University of Technology to take a position as Professorand Vice Dean of School of Textile Engineering. He was pointed Dean of the school in 2014 and resigned in April 2017. From March 2019, he rejoinedTiangong University as a professor. He won Award of Excellent Teacher by China Textile Vision Science and Education Fund in 2008 and AwardforScientificandTechnologicalAdvancement by Henan Provincial Government in 2015. He is currently a member of Council of China Textile Engineering Society, member of editorial board of Journal of Textile Research (China). His present research interests include digital textiles design and technical textiles, especially on designing, imitating and manufacturing the complex 3D woven structure.
