The university is very strong in the field of textiles materials and the national key major of textile engineering is just in the university. Based on this, the university has been making a lot of research work related to textile reinforced composites, which include 3D braiding, weaving, knitting and nonwovens. We have a variety of equipments, machines, facilities and testing instruments for scientific research. The main areas include preparation of textile performs, mechanical properties study, fabric mechanics, consolidation and curing technology development, conformability study of sheet textiles, high performance textile reinforced composite research and development, application study, etc..
