Prof. Jianxin Li is the Director of National Center for International Joint Research on Membrane Science and Technology, a Full Professor in School of Materials Science and Engineering and Principal Investigator of State Key Laboratory of Separation Membranes and Membrane Processes, Tiangong University (former name: Tiangong University), China. Prof. Li has an initial background in Chemical Engineering and worked for the chemical fertilizer industry for 12 years. He received a PhD in Polymer Science from University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and had ever worked as research associate at University of Colorado at Boulder, USA and a visiting professor at the Ohio State University, USA and Kobe University, Japan. His current research interests are polymeric membrane preparation, novel integrated membrane processes and electrocatalytic membrane reactor for wastewater treatment and organic electrosynthesis. He has published more than 250 technical papers including 26 patents and won 2nd Prize of National Prize for Technology Inventions (China) etc. He has supervised over 100 postgraduates (MS/PhD) to completion. Besides he has done his best efforts to establish an extensive network of international academic cooperation comprising the esteemed universities or research centers.
