Professor
He is a professor of the School of Foreign Languages, Tianjin Polytechnic University. He earned his BA and MA degrees in Shandong University. He is currently the Deputy Dean, and a Member of the Academic Board of the School of Foreign Languages, an expert in Linguistics and Foreign Language Teaching, and MA supervisor. In 2009, he was awarded Outstanding Teacher of Tianjin Polytechnic University; in 1990, Advanced Individual of Shandong University; and in 1989, Prominent Teacher of Shandong University. His research interest includes syntax and comparative linguistics between English and Chinese. He is an editor of the CSCanada journal-- Studies in Literature and Language. His major publications are: “Reflections on the Types of Natural Languages from the Perspective of Wh-movement” and “The Syntactic Evidence on the Chinese Interrogative Particle Ne”.
