INTRODUCTION
I am professor of Environmental & Chemical Engineering at TJPU. I have been elected as New Century Excellent Talents in Universities in 2010 and as well as the outstanding postdoctoral fellow in DICP. My research is quite diverse but all of my funded research projects centre on the preparation and electrochemical evaluation of new materials, and the development of new concepts, for fuel cells and novel energy storage devices. I have taken in charge of one work package of National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program). My contributions are published in good international journals, such as Nature Nanotechnology, Nano Letters, Nano Energy, J. Mater. Chem, Electrochem. Commun, Intl. J. Hydrogen Energy, J Power Sources and J. Membrane Sci etc. I am a reviewer for several Chemistry, Electrochemistry and Materials journals, including J. Am. Chem. Soc, Electrochem. Commun, Intl. J. Hydrogen Energy, J. Membrane Sci, Materials Science and Engineering, J. Nanoparticle Research, etc.
TEACHING ACTIVITIES
I teach on the Applied Electrochemistry and Measurements, Materials for New energy technologies and Catalysis Principles. I enjoy teaching and interacting with students because I like to impart my knowledge/experience to the students.
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Currently, my lab focuses on the study of new electrodes and materials for lithium-air batteries and fuel cells, CO2 electrolyzers, inorganic membranes and fundamental electrochemistry. This research can lead to new energy devices with high energy density, high power density, long life, low cost, and high safety.
