Professor Chen Wei received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2000, 2003, and 2006, respectively.

He is currently the executive vice president of research institute of electrical machine system, and the secretary general of motor subcommittee of china machinery industry education association.
