Academic Experience
Holding the positions of director of Tianjin Water Quality Safety Assurance and Evaluation Technology Engineering Center, member of Chinese Society For Environmental Sciences, honorary Chairman of Tianjin Society for Environmental Science, executive director of Tianjin Environmental Protection Association, judge for the environmental group of department of engineering materials in NSFC, environmental discipline leader and the leader of Membrane Water Treatment Technology Innovation Group in TGU.
For the past few years engaged in teaching and scientific researches in both fields of application of membrane technology in water treatment process and environmental planning and management.
In the field of application of membrane technology in water treatment process: producing pioneering advantages for membrane fouling control and optimized design of membrane modules in the aspects of membrane technology in water and wastewater treatment processes on the basis of directing and completing the researches on national science and technology support program, national key basic research and development plan, national water project and national natural science foundation project; proposing the theory of mesoscopic-scale regulation further expanding the theoretical system of membrane technology in water treatment process and providing a new way to breaking through the problems of large-scale engineering applications so as to obtain a key research project supported by National Natural Science Foundation; being recognized by the international and domestic peers and becoming an evaluation expert of major projects and awards in the field of membrane water treatment technology at the national level depending on years of accumulation in the fields of scientific research and engineering.
In the field of environmental planning and management: proposing the concept of urban green water, clarifying the relationship between urban water consumption and watershed aquatic ecological environment, and constructing the development framework and implementation approach of urban green water on the basis of directing and completing major projects of the national social science foundation; illustrating the concept and functions of green university, proposing the implementation methods and construction standards of building a green university and take the lead in implementing in Tianjin on the basis of directing and completing humanities and social science research project of the ministry of education and scientific research and innovation special fund project of Tianjin.
Was and is in charge of over 20 projects including National 11th five-year plan, 12th five-year water pollution control of major projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, Project 973, doctoral fund and the backbone teachers funded projects of the Ministry of Education, key research project of Tianjin, Tianjin Natural Science Fund and enterprise horizontal research projects, with more than 10 national authorized patents, 7 provincial science and technology progress awards, and more than 100 papers published in China and abroad.
