Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor (2005) by the Ministry of Education.Recipient of the National Distinguished Young Scholar Fund (2013).Leader of the Ministry of Education Innovation Team in "Low-Dimensional Functional Materials".
In the past, he held positions such as the Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Beijing University of Science and Technology and Vice President of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology. Currently, he serves as the Executive Vice President of Tiangong University and is the Director of the Beijing Municipal Engineering Research Center for Weak Magnetic Detection and Applications. Professor Jiang Yong is actively involved in various academic and professional organizations. He is an Editorial Board Member for 12 domestic and international journals and a member of the National New Materials Industry Development Strategic Advisory Committee. He is recognized as an IEEE Senior Member and serves on committees such as the Applied Magnetism Committee of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the Solid Science and New Materials Committee of the Chinese Rare Earths Society, the Functional Materials Committee of the Chinese Society for Metals, and the Magnetism Professional Committee of the Chinese Physical Society. Over the past five years, his work has focused on the study of the spin-orbit torque effect and its manipulation. He is currently leading research projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program, the development of major national scientific research instruments, and the Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.Throughout his career, professor Jiang Yong has authored over 300 papers published in domestic and international academic journals, including Nature Materials, Nature Communications, and Advanced Materials. He has also co-authored 3 English monographs (chapters) and delivered over 40 invited talks at international conferences. His contributions include the acquisition of 21 granted patents.
