The School has been carrying on its educational philosophy of developing into “a school led by disciplinary construction, established on the basis of high quality, growing its unique features and becoming a powerful source of talented professional people.” Inspiring this philosophy has been the TJPU motto of “Strictness, preciseness, objectivity, truth-seeking ”.

The School has the undergraduate English-major program as the core, and at the same time undertakes the non-major English courses and the dual-degree programs of both English and Japanese. We take it as our mission to cultivate talents with multidisciplinary knowledge, multiple skills and an international orientation.

The School is striving for excellence in teaching and academic research, and it desires to continue to contribute to local economic and social development by giving prominence to its unique features of “international orientation, cultural and academic diversity and multi-purpose education”.
