The graduate education at Tianjin Polytechnic University can be traced back to 1980s’. After 30 years’ striving, the Graduate School of Tianjin Polytechnic University has achieved remarkable progress and development in many aspects. Its scale extends continuously and it has trained high-level specialists in various fields. It was authorized to confer master and doctoral degrees and to establish pilot stations for postdoctoral research. More than 4500 students have graduated from our school. In recent years, the enrolled students have increased by 10% to 15% annually.

In order to meet the demand of the economic and social development, our school has steadily promoted educational reform and established a new model for high level scientific research, while putting emphasis on improving students’ innovative abilities, cultivating high level talents, strengthening discipline development and enhancing the University’s core competition capacity.
